Viktor Yanukovych also said that the new Ukrainian government is actively working for respect towards the Constitution to become the norm in society.
"Both people and officials must respect the Constitution. This respect should be at the highest level," he said.
From his part, Valery Zorkin said that Russia places hopes in the new Ukrainian government of restoring the traditionally good-neighborly relations with Ukraine.
"Constitutional Courts of our two countries are also working in this direction," he said.
