“We see an absolutely open friend and partner in Hungary in bilateral relations, regional and European Policy, the policy we conduct in international organizations”, - said Victor Yushchenko at his press conference in Budapest.
According to President Yushchenko the most delicate questions in Ukarainian-Hungarian relations remain status of national minorities, historical heritage, economic and energy cooperation.
Speaking about economic cooperation between Ukraine and Hungary President Yushchenko said that its development is satisfactory and shows good results even in spite of global economic crisis.
He also said that political ties are improving between the two countries adding that “our relations are the relations of special partnership; everywhere we see the will to move forward and solve the problems that still remain in our relations”.
