Within the framework of his official visit to Hungary President Victor Yushchenko met with representatives of Ukrainian diaspora in Hungary.
Speaking at the meeting President Yushchenko thanked those gathered for their patriotism and involvement in preservation of Ukrainian identity. He urged the community to continue preserving unity, developing ties with Ukraine and assured that he is ready to support that.
Also in his address President Yushchenko briefly told Ukrainians of Hungary present at the meeting about internal situation in Ukraine and its external political priorities.
