Speaking to journalists after his visit to OJSC ‘Kvazar’ President Yushchenko informed that he addressed the Constitutional Court with the request disputing constitutionality of Verkhovna Rada decision scheduling presidential election on October 25, 2009. “The decision of the Verkhovna Rada on holding early presidential election is illegitimate and contradicts the direct imperative norm of the Constitution”, - he said.
He repeated that he is ready to discuss simultaneous early presidential and parliamentary election because this would be the best way to come out of political crisis.
