President Victor Yushchenko sent a letter to President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, in which he thanked Russian leader for evacuation of civilians, Ukrainian citizens among them, from armed conflict zone in the Gaza Strip.
“This is a real display of traditional friendliness of relations between our nations”, said Victor Yushchenko in his letter.
