President Victor Yushchenko and Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko sent a joint letter to the IMF Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn.
In their letter President and Prime Minister informed IMF Managing Director about financial situation in Ukraine.
They also assured him that Ukrainian side is positive about proper implementation of the IMF program, including correction of budget indices. Besides, President and Prime Minister expressed hope that during IMF Mission’s stay in Ukraine in January the sides would be able to elaborate joint measures aimed at stabilization of the situation.
