Transport Ministry: South western railway reveal almost 12 thousand of ticketless passengers

The service of commuter traffic of the South western railway have detected 11 thousand 908 passengers trying to travel without tickets while boarding the trains. Such are the results of a month dedicated to improvement of quality of passenger service.

During this time, since October 15 till November 15, in punitive ticket offices 66 thousand 208 tickets have been issued to the tune of 150.3 thousand hryvnyas. Passengers have bought tickets at the sum of 1 million 642 thousand UAH from conductors-cashiers in the electric trains.

During the check-ups of suburban trains workers of the railroad and law enforcement bodies have disclosed around 5 thousand of invalid travel documents.

Holding of such months in improvement of quality of railway service enables not only to reveal and remove flaws but to increase profits from commuter traffic.
