East Europe Foundation gives grant for popularization and system implementation of solar energy in Ukrainian Crimea

The East Europe Foundation gave a grant to the amount of USD 31,683 for popularization and system implementation of the solar energy in Crimea (South Ukraine) to the Creative Union of Scientific and Engineering Associations (Societies) of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea under the auspices of the Norwegian Embassy in Ukraine, the OSCE and the U.S. Agency for International Development.

"A constant rise in prices for the energy resources makes one to be more active in referring to alternative types of energy", Foundation's President Andy Wilson said. "We hope that this project will help popularize use of ecologically clean and practically inexhaustible solar energy in Crimea".
