Seventh UN Secretary General Kofi Annan (1997 - 2006) will become an honorary guest of the First Ukrainian Intellectual Youth Forum "Tomorrow: Peace, Ukraine, Me" on May 16. Kofi Annan will deliver a lecture Global Challenges of Present Time to Youth of Ukraine and World and will answer questions of scholars of the program "Tomorrow. UA" and other forum participants.
The forum is carried out within the frames of the stipend program "Tomorrow.UA", the all-national program of Viktor Pinchuk's Foundation for supporting the talented youth, the foundation's press service informed.
The main aim of the forum is to help the Ukrainian youth, in particular, the forum participants-winners of the stipend program "Tomorrow. UA", to become prepared to challenges to be faced by young specialists after they start their professional carrier in science, business, social sphere and as state servants; to find an answer to a question: what can the present generation of students do for themselves personally and for the country, as a whole, so that integration into the global "Tomorrow" be a maximum success?
Participating in the forum's work will also be leading Ukrainian and international experts in the sphere of economy, political science and sociology.
