Forty of 350 higher educational institutions of Ukraine of the third and fourth level of accreditation have been included into the rating of best higher educational institutions under the Korrespondent rating, referred to the Korrespondent.net.
The Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University was recognized the best classical university, the National Technical University "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" was named the best technical higher educational institution, the Kyiv National Vadym Hetman Economic University - the best economic higher educational institution, the National Yaroslav the Wise Juridical Academy of Ukraine - the best juridical higher educational institution, the National Oleksandr Bohomolets Medical University - the best medical higher educational institution, the National Mykhaylo Drahomanov Pedagogical University - the best pedagogical higher educational institution, and the National Academy of Fine Art and Architecture was named the best art school.
The rating was drawn up following data by colleges and the Education Ministry, as well as upon opinions of Ukrainian personnel agencies and the Confederation of Employers of Ukraine. The main criteria were matriculation competitions and the appraisal of employers.
