President Victor Yushchenko took part in a meeting of the Council of the People’s Union Our Ukraine.
In his address to those present Victor Yushchenko said that main aim of the meeting is to strengthen organizational efficiency of the party and choose people who would be able to rejuvenate it.
He also informed that the sitting of Presidium suggested Vira Ulyanchenko for the Head of the Council and asked the Council members to support the candidature.
In result of the vote Vira Ulyanchenko was appointed Head of the Council and Roman Bezsmertny was appointed Acting Head of Central Executive Committee.
