Within the framework of his visit to Ivano-Frankivsk region President Victor Yushchenko examined construction of the bridge across Bystrytsya Nadvirnyanska River and the Stryy – Ivano-Frankivsk – Chernivtsi – Mamalyga road that were destroyed by floods in the summer of 2008.
Also President Yushchenko was shown the construction site of the floodbank designed to prevent flooding in the future.
