The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development grants Ukrzaliznytsia 62.5mln dollars of credit to revive its stock. A relevant credit agreement was signed today by EBRD Business Group Director for Infrastructure Thomas Maier, Director-General Mykhailo Kostiuk and head of the Donetsk railway Mykola Serhienko.
The credit between Ukrzaliznytsia and EBRD has been signed on beneficial terms for the Ukrainian enterprise for 10 years. It is envisaged that credit means to be aimed at reviving carriages and other stock of the railway. According to Minister of Transport and Communications of Ukraine Yosyp Vinskyi, purchasing the stock, the railway supports the national industry in that way and preserves workplaces.
