Within the framework of his working visit to Mykolayiv region, President Victor Yushchenko visited PJSC Damen Shipyards Ocean.
There President Yushchenko took part in float-out of a chemical tanker, built by the shipyard for Russian-Norwegian company.
Speaking at the event President Yushchenko said that Ukrainian shipbuilding industry has high potential and is developing dynamically.
He also named Damen Shipyards Ocean a good example of successful and profitable foreign investment, adding that he is sure that the company would withstand financial-economic crisis well.
