President Victor Yushchenko gave an interview today to Ukrainian periodicals. Main subject for the interview became forming of the coalition in the Parliament.
President Yushchenko criticized deputies in People’s Union ‘Our Ukraine’, who supported the coalition. He reminded that at their last gathering members of the party decided that restoration of coalition of the group with BYuT was unacceptable and impossible. Therefore, according to Victor Yushchenko, the deputies, who violated the decision should be expelled from the union.
Speaking about the coalition itself President Yushchenko said that despite it was announced, it was not officially registered. And even if it was, such a coalition would not have majority, which would make it to seek for support of communists. “… if we are speaking about that, this is even more humiliating”, - said Victor Yushchenko.
