President Victor Yushchenko officially welcomed in Ukraine the leader of Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya Muammar al-Gaddafi.
The ceremony took place in front of Presidential Secretariat building in Kyiv.
After hearing anthems of the two countries, and inspecting a guard of honor the two leaders proceeded to Horodetsky House, where they held private meeting.
