President Victor Yushchenko took part in a festive gathering on the occasion of Agrarian’s Day.
Speaking at the event President made positive remarks about agrarians’ achievements. He also stressed that position at world agricultural products market would strengthen because according to experts demand for products Ukraine’s agricultural sector specializes in remains stable.
In his speech President also outlined some strategic goals to be reached in order to ensure further development of agrarian sector in Ukraine. Among them were liberalization of agricultural market, attraction of investments to the branch, emprovement of loan provision mechanism, increasing state budgetary support of the branch, etc.
After congratulating agrarians on their holida, President Yushchenko presented state decorations to them.
