A commission from the Food and Veterinary Office (FVO) of the European Commission's Directorate General for Health and Consumers has presented a preliminary report to Ukraine, the press service of the Ukrainian State Committee of Veterinary Service told.
The commission's report stresses the importance of meeting EU veterinary, sanitary and other requirements by Ukrainian companies, concerning the quality and safety of food products during the whole process of production, starting with raw materials and ending with final products.
According to the established procedure for work on reports, commentaries to them and events should be drafted and sent by the Ukrainian side to the European Commission within 25 days after a draft report is received.
