President Victor Yushchenko and President Edward Fenech Adami of Malta opened Ukrainian-Maltese talks.
During the talks sides discussed trade-economic and investment cooperation, coaction within the framework of international financial and economic structures. Much attention sides also dedicated to cooperation in fighting organized crime, illegal migration, drug and human traffic. Separately they have dwelled on establishment of European single energy transit space.
