Ukraine registers 4.2% growth in industrial prices in June

Industrial prices in Ukraine in June 2008 grew to 4.2% compared to the previous month of 2008, according to the State Statistics Committee.

In January-June 2008, the prices of industrial producers grew by 29.4%, the committee said.

The prices of industrial producers in the mining industry grew by 2.2% in June and 42.4% in the first half of 2008, while the prices of industrial products in the processing industry rose by 3.3% in June and 27.1% since the beginning of this year.

Ukraine saw inflation of 0.8% in June and 15.5% in the first half of 2008.
