The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a strategy for a national target program for the development of Ukrainian industry until 2017, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said.
She said that the government stresses the need for strategic planning and strategic reforms that are part of the above-mentioned program.
In May 2008, industrial production grew by 8.3% year-over-year.
In 2007, the industrial growth was 10.2% year-on-year.
