At the joint press availability with President Heinz Fischer, President Victor Yushchenko stressed that Austria’s experience in holding EURO 2008 championship is very interesting and important for Ukraine.
“We understand that the most unique experience available today is the experience of Austrian companies and Austrian authorities, who have brilliantly arranged finals of the European championship 2008”, - he said. Also Victor Yushchenko invited Austrian business to take part in the projects related to Ukraine’s preparation to hold EURO 2012.
From his part President Fischer affirmed that Austria is ready to share its knowledge in the field. According to him in six years before the 2008 finals Austria has succeeded in improving its infrastructure and by holding the event successfully has improved its reputation in the world.
