The Justice Ministry of Ukraine proposes that Ukrainian citizens be given the opportunity to send email addresses to the bodies of state power and local government, as well as to different companies and organizations.
Appropriate amendments to laws were put on the ministry's website, the justice ministry press service reported.
Justice Minister Mykola Onyschuk says the system must be put in line with the latest information technologies.
The current legislation envisages just verbal and written forms of addresses to authorities through post offices, authorized representatives, or personally.
The amendments propose not only sending email messages to authorities, but also getting answers to them.
