Ukraine and Russia consider the possibility to make up an overall balance of sugar production and consumption for 5 years. This was agreed at a meeting between two countries' agricultural ministers Yuriy Melnyk and Aleksey Gordeyev.
The two parties believe this will contribute to ensuring predictable conditions for mutual trade and development of agricultural production of Russia and Ukraine.
In general, the Ukrainian and Russian sides discussed the possibility to forecast the overall trade balance between the countries.
