President
Victor Yushchenko took part in a meeting of the Supervisory Board of Ukraine
3000 International Charitable Foundation.
At the
meeting President Yushchenko was informed about Foundation’s activity in 2007
as well as about the initiatives for the future, including those aimed at improvement
of charity regulatory legislation. Separate attention the participants dedicated
to discussing developments around Children’s
Hospital of the Future which
is currently being constructed with the support of the Foundation.
In his
address to those present Victor Yushchenko suggested broadening Foundation’s
participation in a number of cultural projects, such as commemoration of
Holodomor, Baturyn tragedy, Kruty battle, reconstruction of Mystetsky Arsenal,
supporting folk arts, etc.
