President demands law observation during Kyiv election




President
Victor Yushchenko gathered heads of district units of the Security Service
Office in Kyiv and deputy Prosecutor General, the Prosecutor of Kyiv Evhen
Blazhivskyi to discuss counteraction to political corruption during elections of
Kyiv local authorities.



At the
meeting President stressed that law enforcement bodies should prevent any political
frauds during elections in the capital of Ukraine. “It is of no importance to
me which political party… commits political corruption. It is important that
there were no such facts during the election. It is your duty. Those who do
this must account for that according to the law”, - he said.
