Ukraine has returned to policy of peace an national pragmatism - President


"We completed formation of executive power branch. Now we are working to restore trust and partnership relations with our neighbors both in the west and the east. Ukraine returned to the policy of peace, good neighborliness and national pragmatism," said the Head of State.

The President reminded that in order to restore and effectively implement this course, he established the Committee on Economic Reforms currently elaborating relevant program, the working group on judicial reform and the National Anti-Corruption Committee. According to Viktor Yanukovych, in the nearest future the newly created humanitarian public council will start its work.

"We offer a new course to the country, which is based on political dialogue, social peace, new humanitarian policy, economic reforms and neutrality," he said.

The President is convicted that society will support this course, "because it is aimed at solving the main problem which is improvement of life standards and building a strong state respected in the world".

President Yanukovych stressed that he realizes that now citizens expect a lot and he will do his best to justify their expectations.

"I will do everything possible to introduce these changes without shocks and losses," he said.
