President supports holding next OSCE summit in Astana

"Our countries’ problems and interests often coincide. We believe this fact provide objective preconditions for our cooperation, including issues of international politics", said Viktor Yanukovych.

The President stressed that the Ukrainian side is ready to support Kazakhstan in elaborating the agenda of the summit.

Viktor Yanukovych also expressed the opinion that OSCE functions should go beyond election monitoring. "The OSCE is a good platform for discussion of European security issues. And we should use it", he said.
