The visit includes a tet-a-tet meeting of the Ukrainian and Kazakh Presidents, followed by the talks between the delegations.
The parties are expected to discuss a wide range of bilateral issues, in particular cooperation in energy, transport, aerospace and engineering industries. The agenda also includes discussion of global and regional cooperation, as well as cooperation of our countries in international organizations, particularly the OSCE (this year Kazakhstan chairs the OSCE).
After the talks a number of bilateral documents are scheduled to be signed, such as a joint statement of the Presidents of Ukraine and Kazakhstan and 2010 - 2011 Action Plan.
Also, the sides plan to sign the Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on mutual travel of citizens of 19 May 2000.
The Ukrainian delegation includes Chief of Staff Sergiy Lyovochkin, Foreign Minister Kostyantyn Gryshchenko, Minister of Fuel and Energy Yuriy Boyko, Minister of Transport and Communications Kostyantyn Yefymenko, Industrial Policy Minister Dmytro Kolesnikov, Agrarian Policy Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk, Director General of the National Space Agency of Ukraine Yuriy Alekseev.
