"We see strengthening, development and intensification of our relations with Kazakhstan as one of the priorities of foreign policy in Eurasia", he said.
According to the President, during negotiations the parties also agreed to hold annual meetings of intergovernmental commissions to develop specific proposals on development of bilateral cooperation.
Presidents of Ukraine and Kazakhstan have also discussed prospects of cooperation in aerospace industry.
Viktor Yanukovych said that at the nearest 9th session of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation sides will approach with a number of questions in bilateral cooperation, especially in the areas of agricultural machinery and aircraft building.
