Within the framework of his working visit to Lviv region, President Victor Yushchenko visited Shygyni border guards unit.
He took part in the opening of the new administrative premises of the unit, was shown the workplaces of the staff, the control center, museum of unit's history and the dormitory for unit's staff.
Speaking to frontier guards President Yushchenko thanked them for their service, congratulated them on Frontier Guard's Day, adding whishes of sound health and happiness and presented national decorations.
