In Khmelnitsky region President Victor Yushchenko visited training ground of the 8th Army Corps of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
At the training ground President Yushchenko was familiarized with structure, personnel and weaponry of rocket and artillery troops, their combat capabilities and state.
Also President Yushchenko watched maneuvers performed by soldiers of Ukrainian Ground Forces and Military Intelligence.
Victor Yushchenko was shown weaponry used by the corps, particularly VR-2 ‘Stryzh’ and VR-3 ‘Reys’ UAV and ‘Kazhan’, ‘Kazhan – 2’ UAVS.
After that President Yushchenko gave memorable presents to commanders of units that took part in the maneuvers and showed their best.
