President urges adoption of draft laws necessary for restoring cooperation with the IMF

At his press conference in Yahotyn, Kyiv region, President Victor Yushchenko again urged political parties in the parliament to support three draft laws necessary for restoring cooperation with the IMF and other financial institutions.

“If we don’t adopt these laws, if we don’t mobilize around 10 billion of budgetary hryvnyas and optimize the budget, it will be impossible to talk about any cooperation with the IMF or other international financial institutions”, - he said.

At the same time President Yushchenko stressed that it was responsibility of the Prime Minister and of the coalition to conduct proper debates and vote the draft laws in the parliament.
