President Victor Yushchenko met with Ms. Katalin Szili, Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament.
At the meeting sides discussed development of interparliamentary cooperation between Ukraine and Hungary, bringing Ukrainian legislation to European standards, etc.
Victor Yushchenko thanked Ms. Katalin Szili for her personal contribution in Hungarian Parliament showing support to Ukraine in the subject of condemnation of the Holodomor 1932-33. He also thanked the Hungarian Parliament Speaker for her participation in the events within the framework of the Inextinguishable Candle international project, dedicated to memory of Holodomor victims.
