President Victor Yushchenko met in Baku with the Chairman of National Assembly of Azerbaijan Ogtay Asadov.
At the meeting President Yushchenko said that interparliamentary cooperation between Ukraine and Azerbaijan plays important role in development of bilateral relations between the two states.
He also expressed appreciation of the cooperation between the parliaments of Ukraine and Azerbaijan within the framework of such international organizations as the Council of Europe, OSCE, BSEC and NATO.
