President Victor Yushchenko met today with Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, and National Bank Chairman Volodymyr Stelmakh. At the meeting sides discussed coordination of state authorities in economic crisis, particularly cooperation between Ukraine and the IMF.
“Positive shift is substantial. I think today Ukraine has finished revision of steps necessary for restoring the dialogue and renewing the work of International Monetary Fund’s program”, - said Victor Yushchenko.
He also expressed expectancy that agreements, reached today, would allow IMF Mission to resume its work in Ukraine, thus providing positive signal to business and investment community.
