On the occasion of National Reunion Day President Victor Yushchenko put flowers to monuments to Taras Shevchenko and Mykhailo Hrushevsky in Kyiv.
Other participants of the ceremony were Verkhovna Rada Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn, NSDC Secretary Raisa Bohatyryova, Vice Prime Minister Ivan Vasiunyk, Kyiv Mayor Leonid Chernovetsky, government officials, state deputies, etc.
