President Victor Yushchenko met with the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Mirek Topolanek.
At the meeting sides focused on discussion of the situation with transit of Russian gas through the Ukrainian territory to Europe.
Particularly sides discussed such subjects as EU observers monitoring transit of Russian gas, participation of the EU in Ukrainian-Russian talks on transparent and predictable procedure of gas transit, etc.
Along with President Yushchenko, from Ukraine Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, Foreign Minister Volodymyr Ohryzko and Deputy Chief of President’s Staff Andrii Goncharuk also took part in the talks.
