President Victor Yushchenko expressed for holding a trilateral Ukraine-Russia-EU Summit to discuss the dispute about transit of Russian gas through Ukrainian territory to Europe.
According to him, because Russia is a party to the dispute and therefore may not hold such a summit at its territory, good places for the meeting could become Prague, as capital of the presiding in the EU Czech Republic, or Brussels, where EU Commission headquarters is situated.
