President Victor Yushchenko held a phone conversation with the President f the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso.
During the conversation the EC President said that Europe is ready to accept Russian gas and that Russia has agreed to supply it.
After the conversation President Yushchenko instructed the Government to provide transit of Russian gas to European customers.
