Ukrzaliznytsya: Orphans and disabled children will continue traveling by trains for free

Ukrzaliznytsya has prolonged for the first quarter of 2009 the launched in 2000 action in free conveyance of children aged up to 16 which belong to the categories of orphans and those left without parental care, children-invalids of all the categories, children of militarymen and law enforcement officers who died while performing their duties, children of the dead miners. First Deputy Head of Main Passenger Department of Ukrzaliznytsya Olexandr Ivanko announced at a briefing.

The action applies to carriages with numbered reserved seats of internal trains (among which carriages of 2-3 class of fast, electric and diesel trains of increased comfort) and local trains.
