President Victor Yushchenko gave an interview to BBC World News today.
During the interview President was answering questions about ways for Ukraine to overcome economic crisis, situation in the Ukrainian Parliament, etc.
When speaking about parliamentary coalition forming process Victor Yushchenko emphasized that as the Head of State he is ready to work with any coalition. At the same time he noted that “formal announcement of the coalition was not made yet” and that “debates are still going on”.
Answering to question about main challenges before national economy President Yushchenko stressed that here the most important ones are “weak budgetary policy, misbalanced budget, wasteful social policy and populism”. “The Government should turn to policy of changes and applied reforms”, - he said.
