In Cherkaska Lozova village, Kharkiv region, President Victor Yushchenko took part in an opening of the Memorial to victims of Holodomor 1932-1933.
In memory of those who were killed by the artificial famine in Ukraine in 1932-1933 President lit a candle and put it near the memorial. Those present also honored the victims with a moment of silence.
