In Warsaw President Victor Yushchenko met President of Macedonia Branko Crvenkovski.
At the meeting sides have discussed bilateral cooperation between the countries in trade, economic, political, energy, military, humanitarian field, etc.
President Yushchenko thanked to President Crvenkovski for his country co-authoring UNESCO Resolution “On honoring memory of Holodomor 1932-1933 victims” that had been initiated by Ukraine and approved at the 34th UNESCO General Conference last year. He also stressed that Ukraine would be grateful to Macedonian Parliament if it recognized Holodomor in Ukraine an act of genocide against Ukrainian nation.
Separately sides have discussed European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Ukraine and Macedonia.
