President Victor Yushchenko met today with delegation from World Ukrainian Congress headed by organization’s President Eugene Czolij.
At the beginning of the meeting President thanked members of the WUC for their participation in observation of the 75th anniversary of the Holodomor 1932-1933.
From his part the UWC President stressed that the congress considers the subject very important and puts much efforts into the Holodomor recognition around the world.
After that sides have discussed cooperation between Ukraine and Ukrainian diaspora, enhancement of Ukraine’s image in the world, protection of Ukrainian minorities in foreign countries, etc.
