President Victor Yushchenko wrote a letter to Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
In his letter President drew Prime Minister’s attention to delays in wages payment. According to him debts in wages have increased in September 2008 22 percent and now amount to 850 million hryvnyas.
Of particular concern, according to President is the fact that state enterprises debts have grown nearly twice since the beginning of the year.
As President Yushchenko wrote, the Government lost control over one of the most socially important questions and did not make any steps to improve the situation. Proof to that were numerous appeals by regional governors to central executive authorities that did not produce any positive shift.
“I insist on urgent consideration of the question at Cabinet’s meeting scheduled on November 12 and on adoption of specific and effective decisions”, - said Victor Yushchenko in his letter.
