Ukraine's Foreign Minister Volodymyr Ohryzko met in Brussels his Belgian counterpart Karel De Gucht.
The ministers dwelt on the development of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Belgium in view of the preparation of a visit to Ukraine of Belgian's Prime Minister Yves Leterme, which is to take place in few days, and establishment of work of the Intergovernmental Combined Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation and Financial Cooperation.
The parties confirmed intention to shortly prepare and sign a Road Map of Ukraine-Belgium Relations 2008-2010. Special attention was paid to urgent issues of Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic integration, and cooperation within international organizations.
Volodymyr Ohryzko and Karel De Gucht expressed mutual interest of Ukraine and Belgium to further enhance bilateral relations.
