As of October 22, Ukraine harvested 49.04 million tons of grain crops, the Agrarian Ministry reports.
Grain and leguminous crops were harvested on 14.04 million ha or on 90% of area supposed to be harvested.
The average yield of grain crops in Ukraine totals 34.9 centners per ha.
The agrarian enterprises, in particular, threshed 5.05 million tons of maize. 278 thousand tons of buckwheat were harvested as well as 231.5 thousand tons of millet, 77 thousand tons of rise and 477.6 thousand tons of soy.
Ukraine also harvested 5.6 million tons of sunflower seeds.
