President Victor Yushchenko wrote telegrams to Foreign Minister Volodymyr Ohryzko and NSDC Secretary Raisa Bohatyryova.
In his telegrams President requested the officials to ensure that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Security and Defense Council applied additional measures to liberate Ukrainian members of the crew of ‘Faina’ boat, captured by pirates.
He also requested that the MFA informed families and relatives of the sailors on the situation regularly.
