Within the framework of his working visit to Zaporizhzhya region, President Victor Yushchenko visited the Dnieper Hydroelectric Station.
President Yushchenko took a tour of the station and was told about its operation and reconstruction.
Staying at the DniproHES President also put flowers to the monument ‘To Unknown Soldier’ located at the territory of the plant and talked to veterans of the Second World War.
Speaking to veterans President greeted them with festival of the Protection of the Virgin and thanked them “for what they had done and for being with us today”.
